I would never use the bible to "support" my argument. I merely mentioned
something I vaguely remember that had a similar ring to it.
My point was this, and you seem to keep missing it: Sometimes people do
things that seem might feel are outlandish, stupid, crazy, ignorant to
others (i.e. cutting off your finger rather than your ring, dying for your
religion, changing your face to resemble an animal with tattoos and
piercings, getting your breasts continually enlarged until you're a 42-JJ,
etc.)
Stop focusing on WHAT they did and look closer at WHY they did it.
