Many voice concern regarding Target
A sampling below:

Concern #1:
Also, BJ, look how Target advertises on TV during the Christmas season.
It's totally devoid of any meaning, totally secularized. I don't like the
store to begin with. I highly recommend Value City, ... Wonderful place
to shop for Christmas, less crowded than Wal-Mart too.
Regards,
Nedd
Chicago

Concern #2:

Dear Target Executives,
I am very sorry to hear that you continue to sponsor that filthy show
"Desperate Housewives." I am writing to tell you we will NO LONGER be
shopping any Target stores. As much as I like the merchandise, I cannot do
business with a company of such little integrity. I've written in the
past about the company's ridiculous policy not allow bellringers outside
the store and did not receive any response. I will be doing my shopping
elsewhere.
Sincerely,
Mrs. C. & Family

Concern #3:

Dear Friends,
Saturday, December 18 has been chosen as the day that the Minutemen take it
to the streets.
Despite our attempts to come to a resolution with Target Corporate
regarding their refusal to allow bell-ringers at the entrance of their
stores, the Minutemen, with fair warning to the company, have scheduled a
rally outside a Columbus, Ohio Target store this Saturday. The location of
the store will be released on Friday.
Minutemen United and Reform America, which called for a Boycott of Target
stores 2 weeks ago, have now been joined by several other national
organizations, including the National Clergy Council, Concerned Women for
America, and Culture and Family Institute, in a call to action against
Target's anti-Christian bigotry. The Minutemen, the foot-soldiers in the
cultural war, are taking it to the streets.

How Can You Help?

1. Please contact Target stores and let them know that you will no longer
be shopping at their stores in protest of their actions against the
charity. The number is 1-800-440-0680. You can also email them at
Guest.Relations@target.com, but a phone call is better.
2. Call your local Target store and let them know how you feel.
3. Set aside Saturday from 2-4 to attend the rally. The location will be
emailed to you on Friday.
    What to bring?
    A. Signs... although some signs will be provided
    B. A small bell to ring
    C. Wear a Santa's hat, if you have one

4. We will have a bucket for donations that will be given to the Salvation
Army.

5. Call your local Salvation Army and volunteer to be a bell-ringer. They
currently have such a shortage of Bell-ringers that they must pay workers.

If you have never taken part in a Minutemen rally, but have always wanted
to, this would be a good first rally to attend. It will be non-
confrontational, yet will send the message that Christians are upset with
the blatant attempt to secularize Christmas. Come and join us, bring your
family. You can shop before, and after the rally.
Because of this rally, the Minutemen will not be at the abortion clinic
Saturday morning. Join us at Target instead!
