That makes no sense at all. If there wasn't probable cause to detain him
for the robbery, what was their probable cause to seize his car? Unless
your city and county are having some turf wars, there was no reason at
all that the cops couldn't hold the guy until city officers could get
there to take him in. I'd give the prosecutor a call today, rather tha
waiting for Monday. Why give this idiot a chance to run and hide now
that he knows they're onto him?
