I think this is what she was referring to:

"Chastized? Sensitive, aren't you? I personally didn't view it that way at
all and it was directed specifically to me."

And by they way, I'm not sensitive at all, or never considered that I was.
Here was what was said to me, so as you see when I made reference to two
incidents it wasn't just you:

"Yeah, that's why I didn't go check any references for you. I figured you
probably had the information right in front of you to solve your own puzzle,
info which no one else trying to help you would have at hand, but just
didn't feel like doing the work right now.

Remember the golden rule of MT questions: don't ask for help unless you've
already tried to research it yourself to the best of your ability, LOL."

And as I said at the time, I didn't realize there was a rule for asking for
word help on this NG or any kind of help for that matter. I guess I didn't
realize that I had to exhaust all possibilities first and THEN come here as
a last resort. I am not lazy and usually do have everything right at my
fingertips, but if it took me, say, an hour to find something when I might
ask someone on here and it might take them 30 seconds, is that really being
lazy or just getting some much needed help at times? As MTs have we (general
you-since I'm not an MT) not also learned how to manage our time to the best
of our ability, which in turn means using all resources available to us,
which this NG is one of those resources?
