Brenda,

Everything is not all peachies and cream around here! For example, just
this noon I sat my 16+ oz. cup of coffee down on the desk, not looking
where I placed it. Unfortunately, I kinda missed the desk, not
completely, but it dumped - about half in my keyboard, more in my mouse,
running under the keyboard, soaking the hand towel I have over the wrist
rest to keep my hands from sweating. Then the river of coffee took aim
at my right leg, a large amount landing on the folder laying on the
floor that has all my tax preparations in it and the schedule for
tomorrow's work laying next to it.

As I jumped out of the way, rolling my leather office chair back, I
noticed the little wheels on the chair were rolling through the coffee.
I 'possibly' said a bunch of damn, damn, damn, and a few more damns
for good measure. I grabbed a towel from the hall linen closet, wiped
up everything, dabbed at the papers in the tax folder (the accountant
will have to live with those), and grabbed the ever-present can of Spot
Shot.

That did a good job of getting the coffee up from the carpet that had
rolled off the chair mat. It actually wasn't as bad as yesterday, when
one of the cats vomited on the tax file folder. Think I will put the
coffee-logged tax papers in another folder when they dry out.
