I am not too far from Beaufort - around 110 miles or so maybe (I've never
made the drive from this area) but know it isn't too far. I love the
Beaufort area but since I have moved directly away from the salt water and
marshy areas, I have found that I can actually sit outside without being
eaten alive by gnats. I don't know that I will ever move directly on the
water/rivers again unless I live right on the beach so the breezes will
keep those annoying critters away! LOL. I am right beside Summerville,
now, so if you care to do a map search to see how close you were, that's
where I am! LOL
