((LOL!! That's what I thought Neal... I was like... wasn't it a joke?? ))
Definitely a joke, Bambi, although it reminded me of the one and only time I
observed childbirth.
Maybe I should call it kitten birth since that's what it was. I was sitting
on my sofa reading and suddenly heard a crunching sound. A very pregnant
feral cat who had made my home her home was giving birth right next to me on
the sofa and eating the afterbirth.
This convinced me then and there that watching the "mystery of birth" was
highly overrated, at least for me. My older sister who had eight children
reassured me that the placenta was handled differently for humans. Thank
goodness or the human race would have died out by now, I'm sure.
