I'm the last one who would defend Bush, but the problems we're having
started long before his time in office. When we look at the things that
cause global warming -- pollution in particular -- the finger pointing
needs to be done at all of us and our predecessors. The issue now is,
what can we do to stop it and reverse the trend? As long as we insist on
burning huge quantities of fossil fuels, wasting energy like there was
no tomorrow and driving huge gas-guzzling vehicles, it's going to keep
getting worse.
