The thing is, though, ANY service she would use to collect payment is going
to charge a percentage. Unless she plans to accept only checks through the
mail, there's no way to avoid having to pay a service charge on electronic
transactions. That's just part of the cost of doing business that you have
to figure into your margin. I know a few companies that specifically charge
an extra fee for credit card transactions, but very few.
