Windows Key?

Is there anyway to disable the Windows key on my keyboard. I'm using a
laptop with Win 98 and an external keyboard. My old one is sticking, so
trying one that has windows keys. Of course I hit it every time I use
alt key on left, and something I do causes it to lock up my WP51. Any
software setting to just deactive this PIA key.
