Over the last 8 weeks, I started walking every day. At first I could
only make 2/10 of a mile, but am now up to 7/10. I've already lost a
dress size and 5 pounds. :-)

I got rid of the diet Coke and went to water almost exclusively. I've
been working at keeping my blood sugars under better control.

Saw a nutritionist who told me to substitute whole wheat pasta for
white, brown rice for white and whole wheat bread for (you guessed!)
white, cut out fried foods and processed foods. I try to stay with
that, am not really counting carbs or calories.

Hang in there, make 1 or 2 changes week - small ones, not huge ones -
and it'll start adding up.
