Hostile? Moi?? LOL!!
No, cause it's not really esteem-tied body image. It's a health issue for
me. Hell, I could be an overweight couch potato and likely never care. But
I had to take the baby to the doctor and by the time we got to the office I
thought I was going to need a respirator. I want to be able to take him for
walks and not have to call for a ride home. I want to be able to put pants
on and not die once I do it because of the fat around my mid section.
The wedding is just my "excuse" for saying okay now I "have" to do it. The
reality is, if I want to be alive to see Gabe get married, I can't continue
like I am today.
