My best girlfriend had a chow who was about 8 years old when she had her
first baby (that whole thing was one big boondoggle, lol, she was 41).
I was scared to death that dog would maul the baby and warned her prolly 500
times to not let the kid around that dog alone.
She ignored me (she also left the baby in the car at the grocery store
though). That dog lived till it was about 15, with Alex wallowing all over
him, using him for a TV pillow, smooching him in the face.
I lived on the street behind her. Our back yards touched at a corner and I
wouldn't put a leg in that yard over the fence with Miller back there,
certain that he would rip my leg to shreds. I drove all the way around to
the driveway.
