I detest adultery; it's something that has always given me the
heebie-jeebies, and I've never been okay with even watching movies about
it. When I first heard this man was living with another woman and had
children with her, my knee-jerk reaction was, "What a creep!" Then I
started thinking, 15 years...man, that is a LONG time, and I don't think
it's fair to expect anyone to remain alone for so long. Obviously, from
his stance on this case (which it is my understanding began long before
he was involved with this other woman), he does not believe his wife is
there any longer, that her body is an empty shell. I tried to picture
myself as Terri; what would I want for my husband? I know I can't
really walk in her shoes, but I can tell you, I wouldn't want him to be
alone and devastated for 15 years, that much I do know!
