You have that right. If you didn't like something you were asked to do on the job, refusal to do it can cost your job. There are things protected by religious beliefs, like being forced to work on your day of rest, for example. However, I don't think if one feels that way they should take a job in a 7-day-a-week business, then announce they will not work on a given day.

I lost track here of who you are asking, but my thought is that if an MT found those procedures offensive then they are right to give up the account if it bothers them enough. Life is too short to not like or believe in what you are doing.
Kathy, please understand that I'm only speaking from my point of view as one who has quit jobs over the years because of something that offended or bothered me. However, being only responsible for myself, I have the freedom to do this as many here might not.
