Not sure about that but as a side note...

one of my friends shares an office area with a smoker. She gets ticked off
because she has to cover her phone, answer questions for people, schedule
appointments, etc. whenever her office mate is outside smoking. Now...they
work on the 12th floor. For her to make her way downstairs, out the
hospital and to the smoking area, smoke and make her way back takes an
average of 20 minutes. She does this about five times between 8 and 4, not
including her lunch hour. This is a problem with quite a few other girls
and they are complaining that they get docked if they come back from lunch
late but the smokers are getting 100 minutes or more free every day because
they are not required to clock out for their smoke breaks. Now...every
time one of them comes back to the office after their smoke break, the
other goes and takes "her smoke break". Management won't do a thing about
it as they are too afraid of upsetting the smokers. The nonsmokers,
however, have had disciplinary action taken against them in the forms of
write-ups, etc. Fair???
