Hi, Barbara: I asked my husband, the technie electronerd, and he said that
sadly, doing that magnetizes the "plate" at the front of the TV and there is
nothing that can be done to fix it. He says that if the TV had a
"degaussing" function like computer monitors do, you might be able to fix
it, but since it's a TV, it is, in his eloquent words, "hosed." Sorry the
news isn't better. I actually stopped what I was doing and called him at
work hoping it would be.

But, she should remind dad that the kid is FOUR. Hopefully he won't call
the police and have him handcuffed or anything. I'm kidding; I'm just still
annoyed over that incident in Florida.
