Barb: Thanks for your feedback and suggestions. I tinkered around with the
file in Olympus, Startstop, and Total Recorder. Sent it to a techie
colleague who also said she heard the noise. She messed around with it
too. We came to the conclusion that the problem is on the recorder's end.
He's wearing a headset and walking around while talking, and I guess it's
causing the interference.
I don't know what kind of headset he's using, but I'm going to see if he can
get some kind of foam windscreen to put on the microphone.
