Ignore it until it is good and dry. Then you can sweep it up with a broom, kick it into a corner, or better yet, use the vac to suck it up!

I prefer that way too. Leaves almost absolutely no stain. Hubby doesn't see it that way so our carpet is stained.

However, that little Bissell hand gizmo that squirts and scrubs (no comments from Haggis, please) does wonders.
