One reason my sister's DH is not favorite in our family. None of us are small, but my sister grew tall and has stayed pretty thin in adult life. If you can imagine, she brings him home to folks (not sure if first meeting or not) and he says to mom "you don't think she'll ever get fat do you?" I'd have hauled off and put his lights out.

I hope she never marries him. What a miserable life, trying to keep a certain size to keep his "approval". <sigh>
