No one has ever proven homosexuality is genetic, no one. Whatever one's sexual predilection, behavior is a choice. If one supports the homosexual life-style, one supports gay sex. If a religion believes that homosexuality is a sin, then giving communion to one who supports it would be hypocritical on the part of the church. However, I also believe that those who support homosexuality are hypocritical if they state they are Catholic (or any other denomination) but don't believe their own church doctrine.

Now, even more than ever, as they are proving scientifically this is genetic, not a choice.
A person can believe gay behavior is wrong and still feel it is wrong to discriminate against them for being gay.

Of course it does . . . unless NO one who is gay ever has gay sex.

Hence, supporting gay rights doesn't necessarily mean supporting gay sex.

I'm certainly opposed to what they did, but that's my perspective.

No kidding. I could not believe that. So much for loving one another.

No different than the priest who refused to give communion to anyone in
his
congregation who was wearing the ribbon that supported gays.

Can you believe this is still happening in 2005, and if that isn't bad
enough, notice that the father was allowed to participate in the
graduation. Talk about double standards. I'm a Catholic, but I think
this is disgraceful.

Pregnant student defies graduation ban
A pregnant Alabama student who was banned from graduation at her Roman
Catholic high school announced her own name and walked across the stage
anyway at the close of the program. Alysha Cosby's decision prompted
cheers and applause from many of her fellow seniors at St. Jude
Educational Institute. But her mother and aunt were escorted out of the
church by police after Cosby headed back to her seat. The father of the
girl's child, also a senior at the school, was allowed to participate
in the graduation.
