The criteria they want changed is the that which requires the person we marry must be legally allowed to marry us. We must meet this criteria; homosexuals want the laws changed because same gender marriage does not meet that criteria. Ergo, homosexuals are demanding the laws be changed so they don't have to meet that criteria that we have had to meet since the founding of this country.
