Titled "So Precious"

A father was watching his daughter digging in the yard, thinking
how sweet
and innocent she was. Suddenly the little girl stopped
digging and stared intently down at the ground. The father walked
over and saw that she was looking at two spiders mating.

The little girl
asked "What are they doing, Daddy?"

"They're mating, honey."

"What do you
call the one on top?"

"That's a daddy longlegs."

"So the one on the
bottom is a mother long legs?"

"No, they're both daddy longlegs."

The
daughter considered this for a moment, and then picked up her
shovel and
smashed both spiders, saying as she did so, "Well, we're
not having any of that *** in our garden."
