But Neal, she was a dangerous criminal and it took that many men to make sure she didn't escape or hurt someone!
Rae <who knows they really just wanted to be there and be involved, etc.>

Every time I see the pictures of 6 SIX police escorting her to the plane leaving Albuquerque, get upset. No wonder people drive like idjets here. No cops around!

Some people want her hung out to dry. Some people are very sympathetic. I had not formed an opinion one way or the other. After seeing her interviewed, I'm glad she is getting counseling. I generally don't care for whining people, and I think she was. I also think I'm pretty good at telling if someone is truly fighting back tears, or if they're *trying* to conjure them up. I think she was trying, but that's just my opinion.
I do feel sorry that it became such a media thing. (Thinking back to times when I felt overwhelmed and thought "I'm just going to leave... then they'll be sorry". ha. Never did do it, but it did cross my mind.) What if I had, and woke up to find the whole nation talking about it? Ick.
I'm also not too pleased that she is making a bundle of money off it. (T.V. movie, interview, etc). Oh well, I watched it, so I guess I can't blame her. Maybe she'll give a sizeable chunk of it to those who spent days searching for her... ya think?
