When I moved to the Bay Area in 1971, my first job was at UCSF medical
center, in radiology, and I made $10 an hour with all the wonderful
benefits of a state employee at that time. Man, it's amazing how
little things have changed in almost 35 years!

    ... I understand that the Bay area has some of the highest housing prices ... the Texas Hill Country by Marble Falls/Lake LBJ, the area just east of Zion ... My wife and I retired in 1998.... ... and believe me hospitals are needed as we get older... ...
