What continent do these people reside in?

I don't know of a single productive, qualified MT who would take work at
$10/hr, which is what you said you were paying, unless they were totally
burned out on production and/or so bad that they couldn't work anywhere
else.

If they were Asians, however, $10/hr would put them on easy street for
the rest of their life.
