I do have a clue. I have great respect and admiration for the woman

I thought I answered this, sorry. U.S. MTs have always been an option
while I've been with the company, and before that as well, I believe.

How many we have is, frankly, nobody's business. All our MTs are
putting out work to the level of quality required - when/if there is a
hitch, it gets fixed.
