Folks who bill $200 an hour rarely have "jobs" - they have careers or
businesses, just as each of you do. Sometimes the clients have need,
sometimes they don't. When they do, it is wonderful. When they don't,
it is always good to have other eggs in a basket.

Just as most of you would never rely on one client or company to send
you business, neither would I.

Thank you for the "plunk," I think. Why on earth would I go anywhere?
I've been online since the late 80s (I sometimes joke, "almost
constantly,") and I know what online communities are like.

You are all real people, so am I (even though some of you choose not to
treat me that way). It's the nature of the beast.

I'm here to learn, and yes to recruit - and there have been more than a
couple of you who have joined our team. It's a pity that the dynamic
of the group is such that they would be afraid to say so - or that any
of the folks who are earning less than the utopian sums some of you
want to believe all command don't want to post.

I do work out of my house, by the way, and have worked for myself for
over a decade. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Deborah
