Outlook Email sending with right time, but receiving at wrong time.

I've been noticing that new emails come in in other places than at the
top (and I checked to make sure that I clicked on "received" at the top
so that would be the order they are stored.
To test it, I sent myself an email - It shows it was sent at 12:47 p.m.
on 7/6/05.
When it came in, it was further down in the list, and it says it was
received at 9:47 p.m. on 7/05/05.
If my battery were going bonkers, wouldn't it mess up both times, and
the time on the computer? The clock in the right hand corner of my
screen says it's 1:00 p.m. now, which is correct.
Makes me nervous...
