"Shall We Dance?"

I just watched this DVD that some of you recommended, the Japanese version
and not the new one. Once I got used to reading the subtitles and watching
the movie at the same time, I did enjoy it very much.

The ending scene when the woman walked slowly to the man in the spotlight
who was holding on to his briefcase so tightly was perfect. Not knowing the
Japanese culture, I didn't really understand the nuances of why dancing
should be considered shameful, but it was fascinating seeing how each of the
men handled their dancing.

Since I liked this and, of course, "Strictly Ballroom, are there any more
movies about ballroom dancing some of you can recommend? Usually I'm not
much for musicals, but dancing stories seem to appeal to me. Go figure
since I'm such a klutz myself!
