Re: Need line count explanation help

Seeing the same work calculated both ways really puts things into
perspective. I still have one account on gross lines (and they will be
forever or until they increase my workload back to where it was last
year, which is doubtful), and one of the docs at that clinic asked me to
take on her private office. Of course, her biggest concern was how much
this would cost. I explained to her that for the clinic my rates were
based on gross lines, but my other accounts were on 65-character lines
(including spaces). I then produced numbers for her. She liked the
number for the 65-character line better, for obvious reasons.

There is the chance that once the doc sees the difference he may insist
on the other gal changing her method of billing.
