That sounds like my mother in law. There was a big "thing" between her and
DH 10.5 years ago and there has been no discussion between them since. They
are both stubborn but she is amazing and it is a family thing. She will go
to her grave "controlling" people this way. He just quit jumping through
the hoop and she can't believe it.
