Re: OFF TOPIC -Hanoi Jane anti-war bus tour

Who has a selective memory? I'm apparently the only one in defense of her
having her own opinion so far in this discussion. I'm not the media. I was
born in 1972 and know only what I know from research and accounts from
family and friends of family. I'm a self-made bitch too I guess, 'cause no
one else made me this way. And I've never had the money the Fondas have. I'm
self-serving in that I will do what I can to help my family and I survive.
She is doing what she feels in her heart is a good thing. She may not always
handle herself well in what she says and does, but when you feel very
strongly about something, is everyone always the model of decorum?
Considering 3 out of 4 POWs listed in some of the stories circulating her
Vietnam visit deny that she had anything to do with any death or punishment,
who are we supposed to believe? Now, it couldn't be that a government could
be starting rumors so that it doesn't make them look bad as to the whole
stupid reason of being in Vietnam, now could it? Nah, couldn't be it. We
never pass the buck to get the heat off of us.
