Oh, I didn't know she had that planned. If and when it happens....I'm not
sure how that correlates with what she did in Vietnam. She was protesting a
war; it's not like she was "hanging out" as you call it. She wanted the
American civilians to be aware of what was going on over there and it was
misconstrued as her "consorting" with the enemy because the government
wanted it misconstrued as such. Was she going out with them, partying,
carrying on? She was having peaceful talks with them which our government
does all the time and that's okay even at wartime, right? I'm sorry, I think
all the wars since WWII have been absolutely ridiculous and anyone who is
man or woman to stand up about it regardless of the bad press he or she may
receive has my blessings. Let's not forget what wonderful things our troops
have done to the POWs in Iraq shall we? Ah, but we're doing it in the name
of anti-terrorism, so it must be okay. I haven't heard of her torturing,
humiliating, or demeaning any POWs, American or foreign.
