I'm home

I am home and I am so tired I could drop. It was 35 degrees last night
and it is probably 110 here. I want to go back, but I need a vacation
from my vacation. On Friday, I fly to St. Louis for a surprise
birthday party that I just couldn't say not to. Then I am coming home
and collapsing.

Thanks for looking at me on the webcam. Jake, Joy and I had a blast
calling people to let them know we had arrived. Sorry about being
late. Road work is a constant summer problem in Alaska. We hit three
detours and they didn't care that I had made arrangements to be at the
webcam.

Not all of my friends are as enthusiastic about my shenanigans
(evidently one reason my ex left),so I figured if I got Jake and Joy
lunch they would stay longer. That is why you see me going back and
forth to the restaurant. Plus we used their phone to call people. Joy
had a 14 y/o daughter in Michigan who didn't want her mother to be in
Alaska for a month. So the daughter seeing her mom on webcam was really
cool for her. The guy with the naked but is Jake. While I was in the
restaurant, he evidently mooned his girlfriend. Then a drunkard came
up to Joy with a flower asking her to accompany him to the Iceworm
Saloon. I think that I was wearing a red and white checked shirt and
jeans. I will ask Anne to send me the screen shot. After that
episode, we went to North Pole and sat on Santa's lap and saw reindeer.
Need to have a picture of that. I asked him to bring me stuff on my
naughty list, not my good list and he was offended. Jake grabed me out
of there before they kicked me out. Evidently Santa does not have a
sense of humor.

Well more stories later because I am way too tired taking a red eye and
I am going to bed.
