This is very bad news. They say part of the reason expenses went up was
because membership soared! That Hawaii conference has been in the works
for several years. When I was a member, whenever they asked if I would
attend a conference in Hawaii, I always said no, I would not be able to
afford it. I've heard that a small number of board members pushed for
this, and by golly, they got their way! It will be interesting to see
what the attendance on this meeting will be.
