I agree with you to an extent on that. I simply don't care to take it
because it would not benefit me. I know I'm good. My clients know I'm
good. I don't need the initials behind me to prove that. ROFL!!
However, I do think there should be a mandatory test you should have to
take to be a transcriptionist - some standardized test. It would be like
sitting for EMT boards or something like that. You have to have it to
practice. If not, then you can't practice.
