Exactly. My clients respect me as an MT, as a person and as a business
woman. The very few that do know about the AAMT, though, think it is a
joke. I have nothing to do with that. I have presented myself accordingly.
It is not our fault that the organization is perceived as a joke by the few
doctors in my area who know something about it. They don't think the
profession is a joke, only the organization.
