I agree; it's the surprise of what the "dilemma" is that makes the joke funny, not the circumstances described! How many of you (me included) had decided you'd fish Bush out, no matter how much you disliked him, before getting to the punch line?

I thought this joke was hilarious the first time I saw it...back in the
Clinton years.  I still think it's funny now.  Then again, my sense of
humor has always been on the seriously sick side...
