The people who received this e-mail are going to have to decide what to
do about it. The fact that the tone was demanding is not pertinent. If
they think they have a grievance, they need to report it to the DOL. If
they have a signed contract in place that states other terms for doing
this work, and that contract has not expired, then they need to consult
an attorney. If they're just sitting on their cans waiting for the MTSO
to do right by them, then I would say they are in for a heck of a wait!
No one can take advantage of them without their permission. I sincerely
hope some of them will take the bull by the horns, but my expectation
is that they will do nothing.
