Like she said, there are more laws protecting the tenants than the
landlords. When my landlord was causing issues with me, I went to the
magistrate and I don't think I've ever seen the wheels of justice turn so
quickly. When our tenant didn't pay the rent, when they finally paid
it they refused to pay the late fee, checks bounced not once but three
times, etc. it took us MONTHS of documenting stuff AFTER "filing the
complaint" BEFORE we could get granted the "right" to evict people from OUR
property.
