I don't know about the rest of you, but I actually felt guilty today having
a water bottle next to me while so many people in N.O. are getting more and
more dehydrated. I don't even want to think of the poor animals.

The pictures of the children in particular are heartbreaking, and this is
from someone who isn't a great children person. I thought watching the news
after September 11 was terrible, but the scope of this is so much worse.

I checked and because of all the medications I take now, I'm unable to
donate blood. Hopefully some of you can do this and will. All I can do is
give money to the Red Cross and will.
