Just do a search on eBay for "memory foam cushion" and try one. They sell for around $25 - $30.
I actually bought it for my car to use on vacation, but if I can get my cat off of it, I will use it daily. He is sitting there, licking his feet, looking at me like, "You don't really want me to move, do you?"
