Re: What, no one is interested in watching the corn grow?

Saw last night on tv a woman who had a hand gun and they took her down to get it away from her and move her out. I felt so sorry for her, but the cops are risking their lives for them and I feel for them as well.

The mayor says take them out, the governor says no, you can't do it legally unless they pose a threat to someone outside their home. In other words, if they want to stay in their homes and die there, they have the right to do so. If they leave their home and become a medical threat to anyone else, they can be removed. The border patrol works for he federal government and isn't going to remove anyone. The police work for the mayor and he says remove them.

The police chief has already said that as long as there are people who want to be evacuated, his men will look for them and not waste time on people who won't come willingly. I suspect that by the time he's done with those, most of the rest will be ready to leave without much of a struggle.
