My friend keeps asking me to type things up for him; "You type so fast, you could get this done so much quicker than I could!" What he doesn't take into account is that he wants these things typed on his computer, and he has a straight keyboard. In the time it takes me to correct all the errors I make on that darned thing, I think he could have typed it himself twice over. :-( I guess I could haul my keyboard across the room to his computer... Boy, am I lazy!

That's exactly what happened to me when I tried to make a "straight" keyboard do for just one day. IMPOSSIBLE. Interestingly, I can make do on my laptop if I have to. Not fast, but I'm not always hitting the wrong key, as I did on the straight keyboard.
