You may be right. I basically do not generally care for children, but I also don't understand why those who say they do sometimes show less concern than I do. I don't know the reasons for this, but with some problem kids (and I don't mean pulling sissy's hair - but more like trying to rape sissy or poke her eyes out), they must either be under constant surveillance or contained. If the circumstances include there is not enough supervision to go around 24/7 because all humans must sleep, what are the options. If there was a child that banged its head on walls when not in a padded room, would you let it out?

No offense, but that may be why you think this is okay. Children are human beings. They have a right to live in a dignified manner. The fact that they have not been on this planet long enough to get any power, and sometimes act out in order to have any power whatsoever, annoys and angers some people, and there are people who genuinely don't like kids. That's fine. But to think, on any level, that caging children in the name of safety or anything else is acceptable absolutely boggles my mind. It's boggled it for days now, and boggles it again every time I sign on and read this newsgroup - but then again, that's become the norm for me of late.
