Um, did anybody say Medicaid wasn't state by state? I didn't think so. SSI
is federal is all I've ever said. And unless you're very well off in most
cases disabled children are always eligible to at least receive $1 a month
and if that's the case, they get Medicaid no matter what their income
is...that's the way it works. BTDT. We don't know these kids weren't getting
SSI, just that there were some form of payments coming in. It doesn't really
matter, the cages were still used and it was wrong.
