Re: What is wrong with people? REALLY! OMG

Again the question is, they are outraged. Good for them. Now why don't they have these kids then? Obviously, people are not knocking doors down to get them. A lot of people get outraged over a lot of things. If they truly care, why don't they go get them? I'm angry at the parents being judged out of hand based on a few media reports and hot-button words (like cage). I don't want any kids. I especially don't want kids with these kinds of problems. I'm not going to stone those who at least tried out of hand.

Piggybacking my own post here but I did some browsing around different conduct disorders newsgroups/forums, parents of children with similar disorders, neurological disorders, etc. and so many are outraged at the treatment of these children. Not that I needed reassurance that Dani, Sandi, and I were not alone in thinking this was disgraceful treatment of children or anything....but after reading the posts from, name escapes me - sorry, the adoptive/foster mother here stating how she can see how it would be necessary, I hoped against hope that many people were not utilizing similar methods because they overextended themselves - or perhaps they sought out these children like some of the Ohio newspapers suggest. <sigh>
