I agree that top mosting is most logical. Some folks don't even include the name of the person their responding to or what the post was regarding. When a post gets 50+ long, you can't tell what post is being answered without it. But again, top posting makes the most sense to me.

I honestly do not know where they came up with netiquette of scrolling through the quotes. I gave up on this post after paragraph 2 and I just refuse to scroll through the posts. To me, netiquette makes more sense reading something at the top. I have voiced this gripe before and I will continue to voice this gripe and netiquette or not, I will continue to post above the quotes. Should I choose to read the quotes, then I can do so, but I will be darned if I will go scrolling through lines and lines of quotes!!

I have yet another woodchuck bellying up to the front deck, just standing there right in front of the front door (there's about 10 feet of deck between the door and where he's standing/leaning). The last 3 did the same thing. There's a really big oblong window in the front door, so long that the cocker spaniel can sit and look out. I started up the stairs, saw her standing there wagging her tail, and there I saw Woodchuck #4, just grinning at us and acting like he had no idea that he is supposed to hide from me. Dog never barks, is not one to defend us...
The last 3 times, I stood up in the bedroom waiting for him to show so I could ...well, PETA might want to *save my post from cancellation* so I'll spare the details.
Thanks so much. I really, really needed that laugh.
This time I got smart. I put the webcam in the window pointed to where they always stand, and when I see him, I'll go...well... :)
And before you say it, I can't have those things destroying our foundation or slicing up the dog and cats with those claws. I don't know if they would bother DD when she's walking down the driveway from the bus, but I've seen them crossing it, so I don't want to find out the hard way, either.
