Wow, it's unanimous! I guess I've got my answer. Vickie, I downloaded an update from Microsoft one time (with Windows 98), and it rendered my system completely useless ... I had to reformat the entire hard drive while waiting for my trans company's IT department to set me up again. What a nightmare. That should have been my answer there. My roommate and I are on a network, and she has Win XP, and I sooooooo hate it, but I guess it's time to get with it. I'll be saying hello to 2005 here pretty soon.
